From the 1950’s through the 1970’s, 50,000 to 60,000 miles of use was considered a
good life span for a clutch. Today however, clutch systems are lasting a lot longer.
It is quite common for a clutch system to last more than 80,000 miles depending on the
driver, usage of the vehicle, and whether or not you've kept up with maintaining the
vehicle.
